The Phoenix of the Detroit Fire Department officially launches plans for its 60th Anniversary milestone — anchored at Historic Engine 11.
Phoenix will host the 2027 North Central Region Spring Conference May 12–16, 2027, featuring the Phoenix 60th Anniversary Gala: The Harlem Renaissance Ball — the signature anniversary celebration on Saturday, May 15.
Ongoing preservation work at Historic Engine 11 continues to honor Detroit's firefighting legacy and serve as the headquarters of Phoenix of the Detroit Fire Department.
Phoenix's Project 100 continues recruiting and mentoring the next generation of Detroit firefighters.
